My Teen Tribe: A Space to Be You
My Teen Tribe (MTT) isn’t your average after-school club - it’s a space where teenagers can relax, connect, and just be themselves. Every Monday afternoon during term time, we bring together a mix of activities, games, and creative projects in an inclusive, laid-back environment. If you're looking for a place to hang out that’s a little different, MTT might just be your thing.
At MTT, there’s always something going on. Whether it’s tackling a group game like the Name Game, where you need to channel your inner detective to uncover the identities of mysterious dinner guests, or a heated round of Rummikub, there’s plenty to keep you engaged. Some of our regulars have become real board game pros - “I used to lose all the time,” says M, “but now I can finally win!”
Not a board game fan? No problem. The adventure playground is a great spot to unwind - whether that’s swinging, playing tag, or just enjoying some downtime. There’s also a craft table where creativity takes centre stage. We often set a theme, but honestly, it’s more fun when people follow their own ideas. Bracelet-making has been the go-to recently, with some pretty impressive designs making an appearance.
One of the best things about MTT is that it’s a space where you don’t have to fit into any box. As one teen puts it: “It’s a place where you can just be yourself and feel part of a team. I don’t feel that way in many other places.” We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, positive vibe that feels inclusive for everyone, especially those who sometimes feel out of place in other settings.
