Urban Escapes: A Summer of Discovery, Connection & City Adventures
Following the great success of last year’s holiday clubs, this summer we are offering Neurodiverse young people (16-25 y/o) and their friends the chance to discover a whole new side of London. Twice a week, we will be doing adventures around the city that range from cinema under the stars to cycling through this amazing city we are all lucky enough to live in. These adventures are made for curious, creative people who want to see everything this city has to offer.
Find Your People, Explore Your City
Urban Escapes has been created to give you an opportunity to find your community and keep busy during these long summer months! Furthermore, the urban escapes will help build confidence navigating the city, as you’ll get to plan journeys and crack public transport. It will help develop teamwork and group decision making as we will all be working together to decide what’s next. We’ll be tackling everyday stuff that can seem daunting, like handling food and managing money, but doing it all together—all whilst discovering one of the greatest cities on earth!
A Packed Summer of Fun and Exploration
We’ve put together a mix of activities—sport, art, nature, history—designed to challenge us and open our minds to new experiences. For example, we’ve organised days of kayaking in the London Docklands! Getting to see the city from the Thames is a whole new perspective that very few are lucky enough to enjoy.
Another example is a day of laser tag. For people who prefer creative endeavours, we have a songwriting workshop organised, as well as a day of creating art with Bold Tendencies. The full list of activities is on EEQU booking page; we’ve made sure there’s something for everyone.

The purpose of Urban Escapes is to discover this city whilst building connections with other people in your community and discovering a new side to yourself. London is one of the greatest cities in the world. Getting to know it is something millions can only dream of, and we are lucky enough to be able to do that this summer.
