My Teen Tribe is an after school club with a difference, where we strive to create a welcoming, positive vibe that feels inclusive for everyone, especially those who sometimes feel out of place in other settings. Ahead of our return on Monday, 6th January, we share what goes down on a typical Monday afternoon.

We bring you the insider’s perspective of what goes on at MTT - our inclusive after-school club for neurodiverse 11 to 18 year olds. We consider how the activities foster connection, build confidence, and offer a sense of belonging for those who may often feel socially isolated.

My Tribe Teens recently took some time out of the fast-paced rhythm of city life to immerse ourselves in a nature-inspired arts and crafts session - read all about our day here.

During half term the Imperial War Museum invited us to spend a day unleashing our inner explorers on the HMS Belfast. Our group consisted of both teenagers and families. Not only did we have a great visit, but it also provided an opportunity for teenagers to learn to regulate themselves in a sensory overload environment. For families, it was a chance to reduce isolation.
