October Half-Term News Roundup
As we take a well-deserved break this half-term, we wanted to share some exciting updates and important news with our community!
Tiny Tribe: Returning on 6th November
Tiny Tribe, our beloved Wednesday morning playgroup for under 5s, is having a short break while we take the opportunity to clean and refresh the toys. We’ll be back in full swing on Wednesday, 6th November, ready to welcome you and your little ones for more fun, learning, and connection. We can’t wait to see you!

New Day for our After-School Clubs
Both MJT (My Junior Tribe) and MTT (My Teen Tribe) will resume after the half-term break with an exciting new schedule. Make Mondays your new favourite day of the week, because MJT and MTT will now be Monday Junior Tribe and Monday Teen Tribe!
Yes, you read that right: from now on, our after-school clubs will be held on Mondays instead of Thursdays, starting on Monday, 11th November.
This shift allows us exclusive access to the fantastic Mint Street Adventure Playground. Juniors will meet upstairs, while teens will meet downstairs. Click on the links above to complete the registration and consent forms.
We’re also delighted to welcome Anna Grant, who will join us from 11th November. Anna brings a wealth of experience in working with neurodiverse young people, and her student-centered approach will be a fantastic addition to the team.
Some of you may decide to use our time off to refresh your teen's wardrobe. If so, check out our article: Have Fun with Fashion: How to Help Your Autistic Teen Choose Clothes.
Nexus Tribe
Nexus Tribe, our vibrant inclusive social group for young people, 16-20 y/o (up to 25 years old for people with special needs), is meeting tonight (Wednesday, 30th October) from 6:15 to 8:45pm at Bethwin Adventure Playground (4 Bethwin Rd, London SE5 0YF)! Come along to socialise, have fun, focus on well-being, and talk about our next best step. Dinner included.
Thrive Education: A New School for Neurodiverse Students
We’re excited to announce the launch of Thrive Education, an alternative school designed for neurodiverse young people in Years 8 and 9. This programme is by referral only and is set to start on Monday, 4th November. Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students who may struggle in mainstream schools can truly thrive.
With personalised learning and a nurturing atmosphere, Thrive Education is an innovative approach to supporting neurodiverse young people, helping them grow academically and socially. We look forward to keeping you updated on the programme’s progress over the coming months.
Coffee Connect: Our monthly community catch-up
Come & share a cup of coffee or tea with other parents and carers of neurodiverse children (diagnosed or not) and have an informal chat and find your community. Next one on Friday 8th November. 8:30am-10:30am at 56 Southwark Bridge road - SE1 0AS

If finances are a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us privately. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone in our community can participate.
We’re also publishing our accounts within the next month, and you can request a copy for full transparency. Meanwhile, donations are always welcome, and every bit helps us continue offering our services.
We hope you have a restful half-term break, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our clubs soon! As always, keep an eye on our social media for further updates, and feel free to contact us with any questions about our new offerings or membership options.
