Join us for a full-day outdoor adventure exploring the beautiful Epping Forest.  We will go on a route perfect for a casual but active stroll, with changing scenery, woodland paths, and peaceful ponds.

We’ll travel together from Elephant & Castle, taking the Northern Line and then the Central Line to Loughton. From there, we’ll enjoy a 24-minute walk to reach the starting point of our hike at Earls Path Car Park on Forest Road. We will have lunch at 12:30 on arrival in the forest.

The walk : We’ll follow a circular route through Epping Forest called Earl's Path to Wake Valley Pond (check it on the app "alltrails.com"- https://www.alltrails.com/trail/england/essex/earl-s-path-to-wake-valle…)

What we’ll do along the way
- Observe nature and learn about the forest environment
- Discover and identify different types of fungi ?
- Climb trees (safely!)
- Work together as a group to build a small wooden cabane (shelter) ?
Enjoy fresh air, movement, and time away from the city

This outing is about exploration, teamwork, confidence, and fun — no pressure, just being together outdoors.

We will leave at 3pm the latest to arrive back at 4pm.

Is this for you?
- You enjoy adventure and being outside
- You’re happy to walk for around 2.5 hours
- You like fresh air, nature, and trying something new

If that sounds like you, come and join us for a memorable half-term experience! And if you love it, stay in touch — we’ll be doing more walks in gardens and forests this year as we get ready for a 7-hour walk at Seven Sisters on the south coast this summer
