My Tribe Beyond: Our New Careers Programme Launches on 3rd June

We are excited to launch My Tribe Beyond, our new careers programme for young people aged 15 to 25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Designed and delivered by SEND experts, this eight-week course is a springboard for young people who find themselves at a crossroads to discover their best next step, whether that involves pursuing a career or returning to education. Personalised guidance and a mix of group and one-to-one support will help students explore their future options, develop transferable skills, build confidence and resilience, and find their tribe.

Who is it for?

Young people aged 15 to 25 who are not in education, employment or training who would benefit from support to discover their skills, build confidence and resilience, and explore their career and education options.

What does it involve?

An eight-week programme consisting of three-hour sessions taking place twice a week. These hybrid sessions will include:

  • Live online tutorials run by our partners Spark+, a specialist careers service for students with SEND. Their neuro-affirming curriculum is designed and delivered by SEND experts in careers and teaching.
  • In-person guidance and emotional support provided by our experienced staff, helping to build confidence and resilience.

The programme will provide young people with personalised support, tailored to address their unique challenges. All students will benefit from one-to-one career guidance with a level 7 careers advisor. They will also have access to an AI-enabled web app to facilitate career searches and communicate with their dedicated careers advisor.

When is it?

The programme will run from 3rd June to 25th July, with sessions taking place every Monday and Thursday from 10am to 1pm.

Where is it?

Mint Street Adventure Playground in Borough, London (SE1 1QP)

Why sign up?

The programme will help students plan for a successful future and prepare them for transitions by supporting them to develop the right skills, access the right experiences, and achieve the relevant qualifications or grades. This will give them a sense of control and freedom over their life choices and enable them to find their happy place.
